

Dr. Tumlin completed medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Following medical school, he pursued residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery in Morgantown, West Virginia. He then went on to complete advanced fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, where he received comprehensive training in both cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Tumlin performs a broad range of facial plastic surgery procedures, including rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation surgery, and the reconstruction of facial defects following skin cancer removal. He has a special passion for rhinoplasty and enjoys the balance of artistry and precision involved in creating natural, individualized results while maintaining or improving nasal function.

In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Tumlin has contributed to multiple journal publications and has conducted research in areas including septal perforation repair, eyelid ptosis repair, and surgical simulation. He also enjoys teaching and mentoring trainees, with a strong interest in surgical education and innovation.


Outside of work, Dr. Tumlin enjoys spending time with his wife, their newborn daughter, and their dog as they begin this exciting chapter in Savannah.
